shout的用法总结

　　出钱请客

　　Shout也可以表达支付款项，请客的意思。

　　例句：Do you want to come to the new restaurant with me? It is my shout.(你想和我一起到新餐馆吃饭吗?我请客!)

　　I can’t believe she didn't shout you dinner on your birthday.(我不信她没在你的生日请你吃饭。)

　　其它表达

　　It’s on me.

　　something is on somebody代表某人为某事付款，所以“on me”就是“算我的!”

　　例句：

　　1.Today is my birthday, so the drinks and foods are on me.

　　今天是我生日，所以吃的喝的都算我的。(谁有这样的生日记得喊上七哥)

　　2.-“It’s totally 50 pounds please.”

　　-这里一共50磅。

　　-“It’s on me.”

　　-我来请。

　　It's my treat.

　　“treat”有请客、款待的意思，所以，“my treat”就是“我来请客”。

　　另外，我们也可以说“I’ll treat you” “Let me treat you”，来表达“我来请你”“让我来款待你”。

　　那么，treat除了有请客的意思以外，

　　也有“对待”的意思。

　　例句：

　　Kate treats me like her own kid.

　　凯特把我当成她自己的小孩一样对待。

　　“pay”是“付钱”的意思，“I’ll pay”表示“我来付钱”。(好的!你来!你随便来!)

　　“foot” 除了有“脚”的意思以外，还可以表示“支付”。
